Traffic accident in Koppl: Four injured, including a little boy!

In the early afternoon of January 12, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred in Koppl at the intersection of the Wolfgangsee Bundesstraße (B 158) and the Plainfelder Landesstraße (L 220). According to reports from fireworld.at Two cars collided while making a turning maneuver. A 30-year-old woman from Salzburg collided sideways with the approaching vehicle of a 30-year-old Serbian citizen, who was transporting his wife and their four-year-old son. The violent impact resulted in injuries to all occupants.

The four injured people, including the little boy, were taken to the Salzburg University Hospital and the Salzburg Accident Hospital after initial treatment by the emergency services. The Koppl volunteer fire department took over the clean-up work at the accident site, where both vehicles were so badly damaged that they had to be towed away.
