Traffic chaos in Bersbuch: car overturns, fire truck damaged!
On Monday afternoon there was a dramatic traffic accident in Bersbuch near “Sporenegg” in which a car overturned. According to initial information, one person was trapped in the vehicle, which required immediate rescue measures. The exact cause of the accident is currently unclear VOL.AT reported. At the same time, a collision between a fire engine and a car occurred in the Andelsbuch village center as emergency services rushed to the scene. Fortunately, there was only one sheet metal damage and no people were injured, confirmed fire brigade commander Christof Kohler.
Consequences of accidents and operational techniques
The consequences of the traffic accident led to significant traffic disruptions on the L200 between Bezau and Egg. Kohler gives the all-clear: “Everything is good, no injuries – that’s the most important thing.” The affected fire engine, a model approximately ten years old, remains operational and is now being repaired. The Egg fire department uses modern vehicles with extensive operational technology, such as the ELW 2 command vehicle, which serves as the operational management's workplace during larger operations. This vehicle features a conference room, digital communications and state-of-the-art situational awareness, increasing efficiency in operations such as the Berlin fire department held on.
