On Saturday night there was a devastating house fire in the Brome municipality, in the town of Eischott, which broke out at around 1:55 a.m. Flames were coming from the utility room connecting the garage to the main house when firefighters arrived. The residents quickly called the emergency number and were able to escape the danger area in time. The property damage is in the hundreds of thousands, and the house is uninhabitable due to the severe damage.

The fire department is in full swing

The main fire was contained after about 45 minutes. During the extinguishing work, a backup battery in the photovoltaic system was also secured in good time so that even greater damage could be averted.
