Shocking events in the Sigmaringen district: Police are looking for witnesses!

Sigmaringen district (ots)

Pfullendorf is under the spell of a mysterious fire! On Saturday evening around 9:45 p.m. a fire rocked the grounds of the Sechslindenschule. The Sigmaringen Criminal Investigation Department is now looking for witnesses who saw anything suspicious on the evening of the incident. Every clue counts! Police take action – call 07571/104-0.

In the shopping market in Bad Saulgau the situation became even more dramatic! On Monday evening, shortly before 8 p.m., a masked robber attacked the lottery office. Suddenly the stranger struck when the employee was at the safe. In a hasty act of violence, the employee was knocked down and several thousand euros were stolen from a black sports bag! The perpetrator, around 180 cm tall and wearing a bright blue jacket, is still on the run. The police are urgently looking for witnesses!

Traffic accidents and drunk driving

The streets of Bad Saulgau were not a safe place on Monday! A 19-year-old was hit by a Ford on Chalaisplatz while he was crossing the street. The driver, a 52-year-old, was unable to avoid a collision. Tragically, it is believed the boy was distracted by headphones. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, while the driver fortunately remained uninjured.

In addition, a 10-year-old boy was slightly injured on Karlstrasse on Monday afternoon when he tried to cross the street accompanied by his parents. A 54-year-old driver overlooked the boy in her Mazda. He complained of pain and was taken to the hospital for a medical examination.

And the police have good reasons to continue to control the streets! A 48-year-old was stopped on an e-scooter on Monday evening with a blood alcohol content of over two. Not only did he have to give a blood sample, but he also faces criminal charges!

Gangs get it on with cemeteries

Crime has reached another low! In Gammertingen and Neufra, cemeteries were attacked by brazen thieves. They stole crosses and Madonna figures from graves and even removed a figure of Jesus from a war memorial. The financial damage is still unknown. Any relevant information is also urgently required on Tel. 07574/921687!
