A gratifying ending of a dramatic search: the 83-year-old resident of a nursing home in Lower Austria, which has been missing since Friday evening, could be found safely in a forest on Saturday afternoon. According to information from the Roten Kreuz Lower Austria , the pensioner was discovered by the trained search dog "Faunus", who was deployed together with his dog handler Michael Jaronik and helper Vanessa Pal. This intensive search action started in Friday afternoon and mobilized numerous rescue workers.

A total of 48 Red Cross employees, including 20 dog handlers, as well as the fire brigade and police, were involved in the impressive emergency campaign. Drones were also used to effectively search the area. The elderly lady was already cooled at the time, but luckily found well.
