On December 23, 2024, a moving light journey will be held in Gera to commemorate the victims of the terrible attack on the Magdeburg Christmas market. Organized by the Gera fire department, together with the ASB Regionalverband Ostthüringen e.V., the DRK Kreisverband Gera-Stadt e.V. and the THW Gera local association, the tour will be around seven kilometers long and will be carried out with around 35 vehicles, including fire engines and disaster relief vehicles.
