Disappeared billionaire: New photos from Moscow raise hopes!

The mysterious case of German billionaire Karl-Erivan Haub, who has been missing since April 2018, is taking on new significance. Pictures allegedly showing the former Tengelmann boss in Moscow were recently published in “Manager” magazine. According to this information, the photos are from February 2021 and show Haub on the street wearing a winter jacket and hat. The recordings were analyzed by an Israeli-American security company, which confirmed their authenticity with a 99 percent probability, as an expert from the University of British Columbia came to this conclusion. Another analysis puts the probability of a match at 85 percent, while the source states that the image quality and origin of the materials make the final determination difficult, reports VOL.AT magazine.

New insights into his mysterious disappearance

Haub's sudden disappearance during a ski tour in Valais leaves many questions unanswered. While the family initially believed it was a fatal accident, there are new reports suggesting that Haub may be leading a secret life in Russia. According to an article in “Stern”, there were even previous sightings that were assessed by biometric software as being more than 90 percent consistent with Haub’s identity. An informant with ties to Russia's FSB, the domestic intelligence service, could have crucial information.

Investigations by the Haub family indicate that Haub had close contacts in Russia, including with a certain Veronika E., who allegedly worked for an event company and has connections to the FSB. In addition, the Tengelmann Group invested in a joint venture with a Russian oligarch, raising further questions about Haub's possible involvement. The investigations were initially led by a former Stasi officer and an employee of the Military Counterintelligence Service. However, they had to abruptly stop their investigation after they were threatened by an anonymous caller.

Christian Haub, Karl-Erivan's brother, has now taken over the management of the billion-dollar family business. These developments shed new light on the circumstances surrounding the mysterious disappearance of Karl-Erivan Haub, whose fate remains unsolved, as “20 Minutes” also reports.
