New charging network for electric cars: Stadtwerke Kusel is making the right investments!
The Kusel public utility company has announced plans to expand the charging infrastructure for electric cars in the district town. These initiatives follow on from a cooperation that was initiated three years ago between SWK-Versorgungs-AG in Kaiserslautern and the Kusel public utility company. The management emphasizes the positive effect of the close cooperation between the municipal institutions. Nicola Klein and Bernd Bohn have been managing the business of Stadtwerke Kusel since September 2022.
Details about the charging infrastructure
In order to be able to use the charging stations in Kusel and other locations, you must conclude a traction current contract with a participating provider. After signing the contract, users receive an RFID card to activate the charging stations. Billing is done via the relevant provider. Alternatively, it is possible to activate the charging stations via an app. To do this, the intercharge app must be downloaded and logged in with the access data of the traction current provider. The activation then takes place via a QR code. In addition, it may be necessary to use the app of the respective traction current provider, which should be requested directly from the provider. There are over 64,000 intercharge charging stations available across Europe, the locations of which can be found via the intercharge app or the website www.intercharge.eu, such as Stadtwerke Kusel report.
