Wrong prosperity: Police are looking for tricksters in Vienna!

In Vienna, fraudsters hit the open street! An unknown man is said to have brought at least two people by several thousand euros by pretending to have recently been robbed himself. According to the Vienna police, the fraud cases occurred on December 15 and 16, each in the inner city and in Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus. The suspect stated to come from Ireland or Great Britain and supposedly urgently needed cash for his return trip. In order to underpin his story, he showed fake documents, as ORF Vienna reported.

The man who spoke in English during his delusions claimed that he could reject the money via his bank app, but this never happened.
