Hiking trail through the magical Magental valley reopened!

On January 9, 2025, the Wildromantik tour from Eybach to Böhmenkirch was officially reopened to hikers. The hiking trail through the Magental had previously been closed, and it was reopened after a mutual agreement between the municipality of Böhmenkirch, the Göppingen Forestry Office, ForstBW Schurwald and the responsible nature conservation authority.

The hike requires good footwear as the path leads over partly uneven terrain. Hikers are advised that entering the Magental is prohibited during extreme weather events such as storms, snow or the risk of ice breaking. In addition, typical forest dangers that can arise during the hike must be taken into account.
