On the night of October 30th to 31st, a brazen act of vandalism occurred on Wildetaubener Hauptstrasse in Langenwetzendorf. Unknown perpetrators slashed the tires of an Opel and a trailer. The Greiz police have already started investigating property damage and are urgently looking for witnesses. Anyone who has seen anything is asked to call 03661/62 10 (reference number 0282077/2024). Finding the perpetrators has top priority!
Drunk driver stopped!
But that wasn't everything! On Wednesday evening, October 30th, a 36-year-old Skoda driver was checked by the police in Reudnitz, a district of Mohlsdorf-Teichwolframsdorf. The breath alcohol test revealed a result of 0.8 per mille - a clear case of drunk driving! The driver had to stop driving immediately and is now facing a fine of over 500 euros and a driving ban. The police have sent a clear signal here!
