Just hours later, his life was changed forever in a split second. The sun was shining, the roads were dry – perfect motorcycle weather. But Jérôme had no idea that his last glimpse of freedom would soon turn into a nightmare.
While two trucks were overtaking, a driver approached from behind too quickly and caused the collision. The truck driver, who reacted quickly and parked his truck to prevent anything worse from happening, is being celebrated by sisters as a lifesaver. But for Jérôme the situation was catastrophic - he had to fight for his life after the accident and has been paralyzed ever since, unable to move down the chest.

The road to recovery is rocky. Once his lung collapsed during repair treatment, and another time his life was in danger. But Jérôme continued to fight, while his family surrounded him with love and received support from friends.
