Snow chaos in the Uckermark: eight accidents on slippery roads!

On January 3rd there were eight traffic accidents in the Uckermark, which were caused by snowfall and slippery roads. The East Police Department in Frankfurt/Oder reported that two people were slightly injured in these incidents. Particular traffic disruptions were noted on the B 109 near the 'Tanneneck'.

One of the accidents occurred when a woman lost control of her vehicle while driving towards Prenzlau. Her car first hit the guardrail before crossing into the oncoming lane and colliding with another vehicle. The other car then also hit the guardrail. Both vehicles suffered serious damage. The fire brigade, rescue service, towing services and police were deployed to secure the accident site and recover the damaged vehicles.
