Nico Bauer opens Brasserie 53: Bad Segeberg has a new hotspot!

Bad Segeberghas an exciting update on its dining scene: the former Olive restaurant has closed its doors and is making way for the trendy Brasserie 53! The landlady Nicole “Nico” Bauer, already known for her rustic tavern Klackermatsch, has courageously taken on this new challenge. “Many people congratulated me, but many also said: pretty brave these days,” she explains as she enthusiastically presents her new concept.

Bauer focuses on quality and creative cuisine! “Regional and international” is the motto of Brasserie 53. The menu is kept small to emphasize the freshness of the products. These include delicacies such as vitello tonnato and burrata as tempting starters as well as main courses such as tagliatelle with beef fillet strips and aromatic mushroom cream sauce. “The meat comes from a farmer from Wakendorf I,” reveals Bauer, determined to serve it fresh and home-made. “The prices are not the cheapest, but quality has its price,” she adds as she shakes up Bad Segeberg’s gastronomic landscape.

New gastronomic hotspot: Brasserie 53

The restaurant is located at Oldesloer Straße 53, where the merchant Kühl once ran his business. Brasserie 53 shines in the new boho style with bright, warm colors and also offers a cozy courtyard for the summer season. Nico Bauer's goal is to create a “refuge” in Bad Segeberg where gourmets and connoisseurs can feast in a quiet atmosphere. “Maybe also for old clackers who find the place too noisy,” she says with a smile as she thinks about the future of her newest gastronomic oasis. The brasserie is open from Thursday to Monday from 6 p.m. - a new evening hotspot that no one should miss!
