Bad Segeberg shines in the glow of lights! The annual festival of lights on Kurhausstrasse attracts visitors on November 7 and transforms the shopping street into a radiant festival of lights and offers. The business owners have made a hard job to make the long shopping evening a special experience until 9 p.m. "This time even more participates than last year," says Jan-Hendrik Hoops from the kitchen studio kitchen work, which acts as an organizer. The shop doors not only remain open, but also numerous surprises such as special discounts and tasty treats on the guests.

The Kurhausstraße, known for your small specialty shops, will be a setting for culinary delights and exclusive offers on this evening. "For us, the festival of lights is the advertising campaign at all," explains Hoops, the Pulled Pork prepared to win new customers. "We have already bought entire family strains," added his wife Jessica. The delicatessen "Gut & Glübste" also attracts with a selection of specialties, all of which have been tasted beforehand. "We are not Amazon, we are on site," emphasizes Melanie Lorenz, who runs the shop with her mother Marita, which is a real paradise for gourmets.

Innovative manufacturers set accents

Also part of the festival is the factory "Nahmet-Design", which was founded during the first Corona Lockdown. Nathalie and Josef Skultety offer sustainable fashion and home textiles, with 80 percent of sales generated via their own online shop. "We try to replace disposable products with material items," explains Nathalie. Her latest creations, including a dog coat and flax seeds, are presented at the festival of lights. The festival of lights is not only a festival for the senses, but also a platform for local companies to put their products and services in the spotlight.
