Festival of Lights in Bad Segeberg: Splendor, enjoyment and special offers!

Bad Segeberg shines with lights! The annual festival of lights on Kurhausstrasse attracts visitors on November 7th and transforms the shopping street into a radiant festival of lights and offers. The shop owners have worked hard to make the long shopping evening until 9 p.m. a special experience. “This time there are even more people taking part than last year,” says Jan-Hendrik Hoops from Küchenstudio Küchenwerk, who is the organizer. Not only will the shop doors remain open, but numerous surprises such as special discounts and tasty treats await guests.

This evening, Kurhausstrasse, known for its small specialist shops, will be the venue for culinary delicacies and exclusive offers. “For us, the Festival of Lights is the promotion of all,” explains Hoops, who prepares pulled pork to attract new customers. “Entire families have already bought from us,” adds his wife Jessica. The delicatessen “Gut & Gerne” also tempts with a selection of specialties, all of which have been tasted beforehand. “We are not Amazon, we are local,” emphasizes Melanie Lorenz, who runs the store together with her mother Marita, which is a true paradise for gourmets.

Innovative manufacturers set the tone

Also part of the festival is the “Nahtur-Design” factory, which was founded during the first Corona lockdown. Nathalie and Josef Skultety offer sustainable fashion and home textiles, with 80 percent of sales generated through their own online shop. “We are trying to replace disposable products with fabric items,” explains Nathalie. Her latest creations, including a dog coat and flaxseed compresses, will be presented at the Festival of Lights. The Festival of Lights is not only a feast for the senses, but also a platform for local businesses to shine a spotlight on their products and services.
