A fire broke out during welding work on an Audi in Klappholz. Witnesses prevented things from getting worse, and the fire department carried out extinguishing work.

In Klappholz, a tranquil place, a dramatic fire was lit on Saturday afternoon! While repairing an Audi in a workshop, a fire suddenly broke out - a shock for everyone present! Fortunately, the men who were busy with the welding work noticed the blazing inferno in time and were able to prevent anything worse from happening.
Heroic deeds of the witnesses!
The witnesses acted quickly and decisively: They pushed the burning Audi out of the hall to a safe open area and immediately called the emergency number! Their lightning-fast attempts to extinguish the fire had an immediate effect and prevented the flames from spreading to the workshop. The volunteer fire departments from Klappholz, Havetoft and Böklund were quickly on the scene, but there was hardly anything left for them to do - the brave witnesses had already averted the worst!
The firefighters checked the badly damaged Audi and carried out extinguishing work to smother the last embers. The Audi, however, suffered a total loss, while the workshop remained unscathed. Stenderuper Strasse was closed while the fire was extinguished and the police have started investigating the fire.
