Stendal - In a scandalous scene late on Saturday evening, a very drunk man stormed into the Stendal police station with his girlfriend. What exactly her concern was remains unclear, but the situation quickly escalated!
When the man, who had a breath alcohol level of a shocking 2.36 per mille, left the station, the police warned him urgently not to ride his bike. But instead of listening to the officers, he cycled away in an unsafe manner - and was stopped a short time later on Frommhagenstrasse, just a few meters away from the station.
Resistance to the police
The situation took a dramatic turn when the police wanted to search the man because of his intoxication in order to find dangerous items before he could be taken for a blood test. But the drunk defended himself violently - and his sober companion also attacked the officers! In a wild scramble, both were brought to the ground and restrained.
