Saalfeld/Rudolstadt. A big festival for the 30th anniversary of the district fire brigade association Saale-Schwarza moved to the Kaulsdorf community center on October 12, 2024. The event was shaped by warm greetings, where the tireless work of the fire brigades was recognized. Marko Wolfram emphasized the indispensable role of the district fire brigade association, which serves as a link between the various actors in fire and disaster protection: "For 30 years, the association has been an important network of fire brigades," so his urgent appeal for cooperation. Awarded members were awarded on the festive evening, including Klaus-Peter Siegemund by the Großkochberg volunteer fire brigade, who was honored for 60 years of membership.

Always one step ahead - the Stadtwerke Saalfeld put on a state -of -the -art quick charging station at the Saalemarkt on October 18, 2024. With an output of up to 200 kW, electric vehicles are now enabled to be charged in record time. "We continue to invest in the charging infrastructure," said Managing Director Alexander Kronthaler, "with two other locations in the pipeline for 2024!"
