Provocation in the stadium: Schalke celebrates Nuremberg and angers Fürth!
A pyrotechnic festival of emotions - the entire stadium must have been boiling when the loudspeakers in the visitors' block were suddenly drowned out with the provocative song "Schalke and the FCN"! FC Schalke 04 is celebrating its long-standing friendship with 1. FC Nürnberg, right in the middle of the heated duel against Greuther Fürth. An unexpected event that could only cause anger in the guest area, where the Fürth fans were unlikely to have any joy at all from this musical aside.
The turbulent event took place on Saturday, October 26th, in the Veltins Arena. The rivalry between Greuther Fürth and 1. FC Nürnberg is legendary in German football, and just recently there was a bitter derby that Nuremberg won with a resounding 4-0. This painful defeat weighs heavily on Fürth's shoulders, and the inner workings of the club have been shaken by dismissals. Coach Alexander Zorniger and sports director Rachid Azzouzi were shown the door after the derby defeat. A deep-seated pain that was only intensified by the solemn music from the Schalke camp!
Derby aftermath: The fans explode!
The Veltins Arena becomes a scene of emotions! “Schalke and the FCN” is booming from the speakers and does not promise any high spirits for the suffering Greuther fans. A brave but provocative step by FC Schalke 04. The derby defeat will resonate for a long time.
