Pocher attacks Raab: His comeback is pure destructiveness!

The relationship between Oliver Pocher (46) and Stefan Raab (58) has long been broken, and a recent personal encounter made this clear again. Pocher reported in the "BILD" newspaper about an incident at 1. FC Köln: "A week ago we were standing together at the elevator to the box, but Stefan didn't even want to spend twelve seconds in the same room with me. He took the stairs." Despite the proximity in Cologne, there is no interest in a friendly relationship because Raab avoids any kind of contact, as Pocher describes: “He simply ignores you, looks through you.”

Raab's comeback and Pocher's skepticism

Pocher's criticism is also directed against Raab's return to television, which is causing a stir in the industry. "I'm disappointed with the kind of shows he's doing. It's almost the same as before," said the comedian, who introduced Raab's new format "You won't win a million here!" criticized as a mixture of old formats. He suspects that Raab is pursuing personal influences with his comeback and describes his motivation as “destructive rage”. Pocher says: "He wants to damage ProSieben, his old production company and the show 'TV total'."

Pocher is skeptical about Raab's ambitions to use a casting format to find a successful Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) participant for Germany: "The ESC has changed extremely, it needs a lot more. I doubt that it will work." Despite the current high viewership of up to 2.03 million, Pocher is convinced that Raab will no longer exist on RTL in a year. “This is not the success story that people want to sell it to us,” he makes a gloomy prognosis.

Such assessments of Raab's TV return and the personal gap between the two former friends not only increase the tension, but also show how deep the mistrust and disappointment have grown between these TV greats. This is made clear by Pocher's open confession in his criticism and the embarrassed silence of Raab, who apparently prefers to avoid the conflict. While viewers are looking forward to Raab's new commitment, it remains to be seen whether Pocher is actually right.
