Korschenbroich's handball players demand Kirchzell: home game full of excitement!
An exciting handball duel is coming! TV Korschenbroich, after the impressive 26:24 win against the Bergische Panther, wants to follow up on Saturday against fellow promoted team TV Kirchzell. Coach Frank Berblinger relies on the loud support of his fans: “They gave us great support in the last few games and we need that this time too!”
But the challenge is enormous! Kirchzell, once in the second division for four years, has recovered after a bumpy start to the season and is currently shining with six points from two games. Particularly dangerous: Left winger Levgen Zhuk, who is considered the league's top goalscorer. “Kirchzell is very effective in attack,” warns Berblinger. For Korschenbroich's Max Zimmermann, who ranks twelfth on the top scorers list with 48 goals, it will be crucial to improve his own hit rate.
Personnel problems for Korschenbroich
The injury concerns are great! Til Klause will be out for at least four weeks, while Henrik Schiffmann has only trained moderately after his knee injury. Nicolai Zidorn is also missing for personal reasons and Ben Büscher is not available. “Unfortunately, we are very thinly staffed in the backcourt and of course there are no alternatives,” said Berblinger. In order to survive against Kirchzell, a strong defensive performance will be necessary like in the second half against the Panthers, when only seven goals were conceded. The fans can look forward to a thrilling game!
