Emotional stories and music: Reading in Olpe inspires everyone!

Things get emotional in Olpe! On Friday, November 15th, the second “Reading with Music” will take place at the Hotel Albus, a captivating event that tells the stories of people who have moved to South Westphalia from all over the world. Organized by “Club 574” and the “Welcome to Olpe” association, entry is free and promises an evening full of moving stories and musical highlights.

The motto of the event is “From Vesuvius to the Land of 1000 Mountains”. Toni Liguori, a project participant and owner of the ice cream parlor “Venezia” in Elspe, will present his personal story and show impressive photos. Liguori, originally from Avellino near Naples, takes listeners on an emotional journey through his life in the Sauerland. The stories told this evening are not only exciting, but also inspiring and full of hope.

Musical accompaniment in a class of its own

The talented Angela Puxi, who is accompanied by the accomplished pianist Marcus Schinkel, will provide the musical accompaniment. Puxi, known for her collaborations with international stars and her own jazz formations, brings a unique sound to the event barn with her saxophone. "I never tried to imitate anyone. From the beginning, it was important to me to develop my own sound and style," explains Puxi, promising to take listeners on a musical journey.

The reading begins at 8 p.m., admission opens at 7 p.m. The Hotel Albus team will provide snacks for your physical well-being. Registration is not required and a hat will be passed around for donations throughout the evening. Join us and experience a night full of stories and music!
