A serious traffic accident occurred on Wednesday morning, October 16, 2023, at 9:18 a.m. on the main street in Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock. A 43-year-old man from the area was seriously injured when he was hit by a vehicle. The 95-year-old driver from Oerlinghausen was driving his car on the main road towards Augustdorfer Straße when he left his lane in the roundabout.
During the incident, the driver collided with the 43-year-old, who was busy doing green work on the roundabout. This unfortunate encounter resulted in serious injuries to the worker, after which first responders quickly arrived on the scene to rescue him. He was immediately transported to a hospital in Bielefeld in an ambulance.
