A dramatic incident on Autobahn 1 caused a stir on Tuesday! In Bakum, a 61-year-old driver from the Ennepe-Ruhr district suddenly lost control of his vehicle. The driver, who was traveling in the Ford towards Hamburg, suffered a medical emergency around 8:30 a.m. and left the road to the right. In a construction site, he crashed into the installed anti-skid wall before attempting to overtake a tractor-trailer and colliding with it again. After this incident, the Ford was no longer drivable and stopped in the right lane.

Suspected stroke and high damage

The consequences of this shocking moment were dramatic: The 61-year-old was immediately treated by emergency services and taken to hospital with suspected stroke. The damage to the vehicles is enormous - totaling an estimated 20,000 euros! The action also led to a traffic jam of around five kilometers that stretched back to the Vechta junction. The traffic obstructions could only be gradually resolved after the car was recovered and the partial closure was lifted.

Anyone who thinks that everything will end well in a traffic accident of such proportions is seriously mistaken.
