Winter break in Wilhelmshaven: Adventure playground is planning major renovations!

The popular Tortuga adventure playground in Wilhelmshaven rang in the winter break with a festive end to the year on December 6th. This afternoon, over 100 visitors enjoyed a light show, a fire barrel, raffle and numerous delicacies. According to Marcel Klee, the playground manager, the year was a success despite the unsettled weather: “Between 50 and 250 guests come every day.” An important project now lies ahead: the old slide has been dismantled and replaced with a new, rust-free slide that is already ready for assembly NWZonline reported.

Diverse offers and animal care

The Voslapp adventure playground not only offers exciting play opportunities, but also a wealth of activities such as table tennis and billiards, while children can take responsibility for the animals that live there, as on Mommylade is to be read. The attractions include a water playground, a skating rink, and the opportunity to play with friends or look after the animals. The playground is scheduled to reopen in February 2024, and children can then look forward to a diverse range of leisure activities, including a mini golf course.

The Tortuga team remains permanently busy with a focus on the care and maintenance of the play equipment and the animal residents. Klee emphasizes: “We always have work,” and there are still many improvements to be made for the coming season, including the renovation of the barbecue hut and the care of the animals, which bring a lot of joy to the children.
