In the early morning of January 4, 2025, four unknown perpetrators attacked a Shell gas station on Sutthauser Straße in Osnabrück. The break-in occurred between 3:26 a.m. and 3:33 a.m., according to various reports. The gang of thieves used violence and was recorded on surveillance cameras.
The perpetrators, who were masked during the attack, got out of a dark car that stopped in front of the entrance to the gas station. They stole a large sum of cash from a gas station safe before fleeing towards Sutthausen. The vehicle they were using had a previously stolen license plate (OS-D 7237).
Police are looking for witnesses
The Osnabrück police were informed about the incident by the gas station operator. The police are asking the public for help to obtain information about the perpetrators or the vehicle. Witnesses who have made suspicious observations or can provide information about the stolen vehicle are asked to come forward.
