New board at foodsharing Lübeck: women's power for sustainable nutrition!

In Lübeck, an exciting change at the top of “foodsharing Lübeck e.V.”! On May 15, 2024, a new board was elected, bringing a breath of fresh air to the organization, which operates eleven “Fairteiler” – cupboards for exchanging food – in the city. The previous chairwoman Sophie Bachmann handed over the scepter to the new chairwoman Melanie Körber. At her side are now Nadine Galle as deputy chairwoman and Beate Neubert as treasurer. Franziska Schenke will complete the round as an assessor.

Sophie Bachmann expressed her enthusiasm about the new women's power on the board: "It's great that we have so much women's power on the new board. I congratulate those elected and wish them every success in the challenges that now lie before them." Saving food in Lübeck

The association “foodsharing Lübeck e.V.” is passionate about reducing food waste and strengthening communities. The “Fairteiler” offers a platform to exchange surplus food and thus make an important contribution to sustainability. The new board team will certainly do everything in their power to further advance this mission and raise awareness of food rescue in Lübeck.
