Truppenübungsplatz Allentsteig, 3910 Allentsteig, Österreich - The Trinational Exercise "Trias25" takes place from April 14 to May 9, 2025 at the Allentsteig military training area in Lower Austria. Up to 950 soldiers from Switzerland, 150 from Germany and 200 from Austria take part in this large -scale exercise. The first week of the exercise is devoted to the troop march, while in the fourth week the rejection and the return transport to the home garrisons take place. The report criticizes the economic performance of the exercise area and indicates defects in the leadership skills, which are mainly militarily trained. From 2010 to 2013, the utilization of team accommodation was only 34.2 percent, which underlines the need for more efficient management.

The Court of Auditors recommends that the forest and hunting tasks be transferred to the responsibility of the Federal Forest. Incredible practices were also found for wooden spaces. A work contract came to 288,000 euros, although originally 58,000 euros were estimated. Despite these serious grievances, the Department of Defense does not want to make an opinion on the report and has three weeks for its own assessment.
