Microsoft Outlook crashed all over Germany - users Shellen alarm!
On Saturday evening, March 1, Microsoft users experienced massive problems with the popular e-mail application Outlook worldwide. According to reports, the disorders were so serious that over 26,000 reports were received on the Downdetector platform, including 3,700 from Germany alone. Many users reported on social media that they have no access to their email mailboxes-neither on desktop computers nor on mobile devices. The disorders concerned not only Outlook, but also Microsoft 365 applications, including programs such as PowerPoint, such as Derwesten.de reported.
The problems seem to be global, since users of alternative services such as Gmail and iCloud also report similar disorders. On the "Allestoersungen.at" platform, a significant increase in fault reports was observed, which illustrates the dimensions of the disorder. Microsoft has so far officially confirmed the problems on X and assures that a solution is being worked on, but there was no detailed explanation of what exactly led to the failures. This disorder was commented on by numerous users on social media who were frustrated by the lack of access to important functions and hope for a quick remedy of the problems.
