A magical evening in Görlitz! On Monday the city was transformed into a sea of lights when the traditional St. Martin's Day parade started at the Frauenkirche at 4:30 p.m. Hundreds of enthusiastic participants, equipped with glowing lanterns, made their way through the festively decorated streets. The start was musically accompanied by talented young musicians from Blech:Werk:STADT under the direction of Mara-Ruth Schäfer, who captured the hearts of the audience with their sounds.
The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by the impressive image of two riders on horseback leading the procession. The participants, including many families and children, followed the hustle and bustle and enjoyed the community and the magic of the evening. Berliner Straße was transformed into a vibrant parade that celebrated the spirit of Saint Martin and brought people together.
