Lifesaver app in Stuttgart: This increases your chance of survival!
Stuttgart – Red alert for life savers!
On November 25, 2024, Stuttgart will become a stronghold for quick help! Then the groundbreaking app “First AED” will be presented, which alerts qualified first responders in the capital when every second counts. Every year over 50,000 people in Germany suffer a cardiac arrest and now the fight against time is intensifying!
Life savers speak!A press event at the Integrated Control Center in Stuttgart will officially present the app-based alerting system. Goal: To massively increase the patient's probability of survival by having trained first aiders intervene before the emergency services arrive. Medically trained helpers with paramedic training or comparable qualifications are in demand and are now being sought!
Investing in human lives
The city of Stuttgart is spending a lot to save lives - over 100,000 euros will be invested this year in the creation and operation of the new system. At the press event, alongside Dr. Clemens Maier, the mayor, also Dr. Georg Belge from the fire department and representatives of the “Region of Life Savers” association will be on site. They are available to answer questions and explain the importance of the system.
Be there! The event promises exciting insights into an initiative that can help save countless lives. Help make Stuttgart a “region of lifesavers” and register by November 22nd at poststelle.37-Pressestelle@stuttgart.de. The surrounding regions of Böblingen, Esslingen, Ludwigsburg and Rems-Murr are already part of this life-saving movement. A modern system for an urgent need that affects us all!
