Young Ratzeburger is committed to a green future and democracy!

In a significant step for the political landscape of Schleswig-Holstein, 22-year-old Robert Wlodarczyk from Ratzeburg was elected to number 16 on the state list for the federal election at the Green Party's state party conference. With an impressive approval rating of 97.4 percent, Wlodarczyk, who is already active as parliamentary group leader in the city council and a member of the Duchy of Lauenburg district council, received the trust of his party LN Online reported. Now the ambitious young politician faces the challenge of asserting himself against his competitors on February 23, 2024.

Wlodarczyk, who has spent his entire life in Ratzeburg, is pursuing key issues such as mobility, social justice and climate protection in his election campaign. “Mobility should not be a luxury,” he emphasizes, calling for a better transport network that includes even the smallest villages. Wlodarczyk is also committed to combating social injustice by, among other things, proposing fair taxes for the wealthy in order to combat child poverty and high rent prices. How Duchy Direct reported, he sees a clear need for action to close the growing gap between rich and poor.

A particularly important concern for Wlodarczyk is the protection of democracy; He warns against right-wing extremist and anti-democratic tendencies and calls for people to actively defend democracy. “Democracy cannot be taken for granted – it must be actively defended and strengthened,” he explains, promising to continue the dialogue with citizens during the election campaign. With clear goals and a desire for more youth participation in politics, the young candidate hopes to win the trust of voters and make a significant contribution to reforming politics in Germany.
