In the dark night of Kassel-Nord, around 1 a.m., the city police caught a suspected graffiti sprayer red-handed! This 41-year-old man had thought of nothing less than spray painting the wall of an arcade with wildly thrown together letters, numbers and lines. When the law enforcement officers showed up, he desperately tried to escape on his bike, but the police were faster and were able to arrest him red-handed.
The hunt for the sprayer
During the arrest, the officers found the perpetrator's spray paraphernalia, which was then seized by a patrol from the North Police Station. The damaged area that adorned the wall was an astonishing two square meters in size and caused material damage amounting to several hundred euros! What an incredible offense in the night!
The graffiti sprayer was then taken to the office in Vellmar to initiate further police action. He is now facing charges of criminal damage. This nighttime adventure could have serious consequences for him!
