A perpetrator, identified as an unknown person, threatened the gas station employee with a knife and demanded money. But despite the threat, the clerk refused to hand over the money and the robber had to flee empty-handed. After the crime, the police launched a public search for the perpetrator, initially with a description and later with surveillance photos. Last weekend, police finally identified a suspect, a boy who was considered a minor at the time of the crime. During a search of his home, investigators found not only clothing that the young perpetrator was wearing, but also the knife that was allegedly used Weser courier reported.
Robbery in Munich: knife threat against employees
Similar scenarios also seem to be emerging in Munich. On the night of December 1st, an unknown perpetrator entered a gas station in Laim and threatened an employee with a kitchen knife that was about 30 cm long. The robbery occurred around 3:15 a.m. when the robber demanded cash and cigarettes. The perpetrator, who masked himself with a ski mask and black gloves, then escaped with several hundred euros and cigarettes. Fortunately, the employee was uninjured and immediately alerted the police. Despite an intensive search involving several patrols, the perpetrator has not yet been caught. The police have now published a detailed description of the perpetrator and are asking witnesses for help tz.de reported.
The police describe the man they are looking for as male, around 170 cm tall and speaking with a foreign accent. The incident raises questions about security measures in public facilities and highlights the urgency of preventing such crimes.
