Drama at night in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen! In the early hours of the morning from Saturday to Sunday (09.11.24), attentive bar employees discovered two suspects who had been acting as brazen pickpockets on Klappergasse. The police were immediately alerted and events took a rapid turn!
At around 2:30 a.m., the two men sneaked out of the bar near a group of three people. But the police were faster! When the officers arrived, three accomplices fled and ran away. But the two 18- and 19-year-old suspects were caught. The tension was within reach!
Evidence in hiding
With a trained eye, the police searched the detainees and found cell phones - and not just anywhere, but some in their underpants!The victims, who are now safe, were able to get their smartphones back using the “emergency contact” and “location service” functions.
The two homeless men were immediately taken to the detention cells at police headquarters to be brought before a judge. Frankfurt shows once again that pickpockets have no chance here!
