In a shocking incident in Nuremberg, a 39-year-old man suffered serious injuries and turned to VAG employees in desperation. On the night of November 12, 2024, at around 12:20 a.m., the man sought help while video calling an unknown woman. The dramatic situation escalated when the woman reported to VAG employees that the man was bleeding profusely after being attacked with a bottle and then injured with a knife.
The VAG employees immediately provided first aid and treated the head laceration and the stab wounds on the man's back before he was taken to hospital by emergency services. But the drama took an unexpected turn: Despite medical advice, the injured man discharged himself from the clinic the next morning and has been untraceable ever since. The attack may have taken place between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., with police targeting the area around the train station, the Königstorpassage and the city moat as possible crime scenes. However, the exact circumstances are still unclear.
