Vicky Leandros cancels concerts: health comes first!

A shock for Vicky Leandros fans! The popular singer has to cancel another concert on her highly anticipated “I Love Life” farewell tour. The reason is a stubborn infection that forces her to rest her voice. The concert in Berlin planned for Thursday, October 31st has been postponed, as the 72-year-old's management announced on Wednesday. A concert in Salzburg also had to be canceled at short notice on Monday.

The artist deeply regrets the situation and is determined to reschedule the Berlin concert on December 3rd. All tickets for the Tempodrom concert remain valid. This event could be the last in the series of their major concert tour, as a performance at the Cologne Philharmonic is planned for November 30th. Leandros, who has been on stage for over 50 years, is known for her hits such as “I love life” and “Theo, we're going to Lodz”. Her great success at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1972, when she won for Luxembourg with “Après toi”, is unforgettable.

Past rejections and the return

This year the singer had to cancel concerts in Belgium due to a respiratory infection. While the dates in Munich, Stuttgart and Frankfurt/Main have been rescheduled, the current situation remains disappointing for their fans. However, the anticipation of Leandros' return to Berlin is unbroken and the hope for a speedy recovery remains. Fans and supporters are keeping their fingers crossed for her to be back on stage soon!
