New Year's Eve hit boom 2026: The big party with Florian Silbereisen!
Florian Silbereisen invites you to a spectacular highlight in the new year on December 31, 2025 from 8:15 p.m.: the “New Year's Eve Schlagerbooom 2026”. The event will be broadcast live from the FC Bayern basketball arena in Munich on ORF 2, Erste and SRF. There will be a big New Year's Eve party with numerous stars, exciting surprises and the best-known hits that will encourage viewers to sing along. OTS reports that ticket sales will start on July 12th at 12 p.m. at well-known ticket offices.
The basketball arena will be specially decorated for Eurovision night to properly celebrate the festival. TV presenter Florian Silbereisen, who is leading the event, promises a “record hit XXL party”. At midnight there will be a live broadcast to Berlin's Brandenburg Gate, where the traditional New Year's Eve fireworks can be admired. After the fireworks, the celebration continues with further musical highlights. BR reports that the program is a joint production of BR, ORF and SRF, under the editorial management of Bayerischer Rundfunk, and is produced by Jürgens TV GmbH.
Star line-up and musical diversity
As in previous years, the event will be accompanied by an impressive line-up of artists. Guests include Andrea Berg, Howard Carpendale, Bonnie Tyler, Andy Borg, Inka Bause, DJ Ötzi, Semino Rossi, Michelle, Thomas Anders, Ross Antony, Voxxclub, Gitte Haenning, die Höhner and Vincent Gross. This multitude of artists promises a colorful music program, characterized by hits, evergreens, rock 'n' roll and swing, which is intended to delight the audience. BR
