Universities in particular will be more severely affected, as the planned savings in university contracts have been increased from 100 million euros to 106.7 million euros. In addition, the technology museum will be burdened more heavily, while the subsidies for youth welfare should be reduced by 2.2 million euros, but these are no longer being provided in full. However, the theater landscape in Berlin is thriving, as the larger theaters such as the Berliner Ensemble and the Schaubühne have to save less than initially planned. However, the budget for work spaces and artists remains under severe pressure and will receive less consideration in upcoming budgets.
