EC Pfaffenhofen celebrates third home win: 4: 1 against Schweinfurt!

The EC Pfaffenhofen celebrated an impressive 4-1 home win against ERV Schweinfurt in the ice hockey Bavaria league on Sunday evening! After two previous victories, including an outstanding 7-0 against Klostersee, the team of coach Stefan Teufel continued his winning streak. The foundation stone for this triumph was laid in the first third when Jan Tlacil and Jakub Vrana put the Pfaffenhofener in the lead with two goals. Despite a connection goal of the Schweinfurter in the last third, Tlacil made the final score with his second goal.

But not everything was gold that shines! On Friday, the ECP experienced a bitter 2: 4 defeat in Schongau. Despite a dominant way of playing in many phases, the Pfaffenhofeners could not score. The first third was a disaster in which the hosts took the lead with two goals. Assistant coach Michael Pfab, who represented the absent coach Teufel, stated: "We didn't get into the game well and actually played it in the first third." The Schongauer used their chances freezing cold, while Pfaffenhofen had to deal with bad luck and a disputed referee decision that prevented a regular goal.

tension up to the last second

The second half of the game saw a combative ECP that did everything possible to catch up. Robert Neubauer scored a supposed goal, but was not recognized because of a questionable referee decision. Instead, it was David Felsöci, who shortened to 3: 2 in the 36th minute. But the time ran against the Pfaffenhofener, and in the final minute Schongaus Dominic Krabbat made everything clear with a goal into the empty goal. "This is the home win and nobody knows why the mammoths win here," commented the live stream.

The ECP, however, remains optimistic and will do everything possible to master the next challenge. The fans can look forward to more exciting games!
