Car crashes in bakery: luck in misfortune - nobody hurt!
A dramatic incident occurred on Saturday morning in Wolfsegg, near Regensburg: While customers were patient for fresh rolls, a car suddenly raced through the bakery's front door! A shock moment that remains unforgettable for everyone present on Regensburger Strasse. The fire brigade and the technical relief organization (THW) immediately moved in with a large contingent to cope with the situation.
"It could have been worse," said Franz Meindl, the commander of the Wolfsegg fire brigade. In fact, there were five people in the sales room at the time of the accident when the car crashed into the shop head -on and tore the front door out of the frame. Fortunately, however, nobody remained injured, neither the customers nor the driver of the vehicle who was first looked after on site.

The picture that offered the emergency services was scary: a car was in the bakery, the front door was completely destroyed. House owners Reinhard Dillinger reported that the vehicle had pressed the entire wing door inside and was jammed between the door and wall. But the rescue was quickly on hand! The THW immediately built a formwork and a building door, so that the bakery could close again on the same day. Customers were able to continue to buy fresh rolls while the sellers were protected from the cold.
The investigation into the course of the accident is already underway, but one thing is certain: such an event is remembered! Wolfsegg shows itself Resilient and the bakery is ready to reopen its doors to the hungry customers.
