In a series of serious traffic accidents on state highway 2144 between Abensberg and Neustadt an der Donau, there were serious incidents on both December 6th and August 25th. According to a report by Central Bavarian A 24-year-old was asked about the accident on Friday evening after a black car came towards him in the opposite lane. The driver, who comes from the Kelheim district, had to avoid a suddenly appearing vehicle and lost control of his own car, which caused him to drive off the road. Despite the dangerous situation, he remained uninjured, but his car suffered damage worth around 600 euros. The police are now looking for witnesses who observed this incident and can provide information.

Tragic accident with fatal consequences

The incident was more dramatic on August 25th of this year, when a 16-year-old was riding his light motorcycle on the same route. He lost control in a right-hand bend and skidded into the oncoming lane. As the Bavarian police announced that there was a collision with a small car driven by a 30-year-old man. Despite the driver's vain efforts to avoid a collision, the teenager succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident. Fortunately, the 30-year-old was only slightly injured. The accident led to the state highway being closed for several hours while police investigated the cause of the accident. It was determined that the 30-year-old was not accused of any wrongdoing, which is why no further investigations were initiated against him.
