There is a weak autumn revival in Cham and the district! In October the region is active, but not as strong as in previous years. Unemployment fell slightly over the month, which is positive news for the local workforce. Wolfgang Kürzinger, managing director of the Cham Employment Agency, confirms: “The region remains stable!”
Decrease in unemployment
In the current reporting month, 2,074 people are unemployed, which corresponds to a decrease of 72 people compared to the previous month. What is particularly noteworthy is that the decline is primarily among those receiving citizens' benefit in the job center. This development shows that the region is defying the current negative trends and is on a stable course.
The numbers are a ray of hope at a time when many regions are struggling with rising unemployment. Despite the weak recovery in autumn, hope for positive economic development in Cham remains. The employment agency sees signs of stability and is counting on further positive developments in the coming months.
