An exciting duel in the regional air pistol league ended with a close result: the SGi Rottweil shooters had to admit defeat to SV Jungingen 2:3! In a thrilling competition that tested the spectators' nerves right up to the last shot, it became clear that every point was crucial.

Martin Seifried, the star of Rottweil, took first place, but could not hold his own against the strong Pascal Merkle and lost with 357 to 360 rings. But hope for Rottweil was not yet lost! Ansgar Seifried shone in second position and secured the first point for his team with 372 rings, while Rainer Pröpster from Jungingen was left behind with 359 rings. But the joy only lasted for a short time, as Bernd Kolberg had to admit defeat to Tobias Helle in third place, who retained the upper hand with 349 rings.

A head-to-head race

The tension continued as Thomas Ettwein took fourth place. Unfortunately, with only 325 rings, he couldn't score against Markus Evers, who scored 345 rings. But Hubert Schneider showed strong nerves in fifth position and got the second point for Rottweil with 339 rings against Patrick Düntsch, who scored 325 rings. Despite this strong performance, it wasn't enough to secure overall victory. Rottweil ultimately lost 2-3 against Jungingen and missed out on an important win in the league.
