Successful training fair in Ellwangen: opportunities for the future!
The 12th Training and Study Fair in Ellwangen on Saturday, November 16th, was a spectacular event that attracted students and job seekers in droves! Over 170 companies, craft businesses, service providers and schools came together in the school center on Berliner Straße to present the variety of training and study opportunities in the region to young visitors. A true land of milk and honey for everyone who is looking for their professional future!
The fair was a real magnet and the atmosphere was electric! Training managers, human resources managers and trainees were available to answer the young people's curious questions. “This is really impressive,” enthused Mayor Michael Dambacher, while District Administrator Dr. Joachim Bläse and Claudia Prusik from the Aalen Employment Agency examined the impressive selection of offers. The demand for training positions is huge and companies are hungry for new talent!
Insights into the professional world
14-year-old Lina Müller from Aalen in particular had clear ideas: “My dream job is to be an emergency paramedic.” She received valuable information and tips at the DRK and Malteser stand. The exhibitors were enthusiastic about presenting their companies and explaining the benefits of their training offerings. In view of the great shortage of skilled workers, school leavers can specifically choose the companies they want - a competition has broken out for the best talent!
The training magazine “Start it!”, which was distributed in schools and available digitally, helped young visitors find the ideal training company. The fair not only offered information, but also a platform for parents to support and advise their children. From commercial professions to craft training and social professions – the diversity was overwhelming and left nothing to be desired!
