The Neckar-Odenwald Clinics have taken a decisive step with the successful examination of senior physician Najwan Al Khayer for the additional title of cardiology. The 45-year-old, who completed his medical studies in Syria in 2003 and came to Germany in 2015, is ensuring the return of cardiology to the Buchen location. This means a first-class addition to the existing gastroenterology and a modern endoscopy and abdominal center.

With his impressive career, Najwan Al Khayer has found his place not only at home but also here in Germany. After he started as an assistant doctor and has been a senior physician since 2021, his expertise will now significantly enrich the internal medicine department. Dr. med. Rüdiger Mahler, the medical director, is enthusiastic about the new reinforcements: “With Najwan Al Khayer we have an experienced and committed cardiologist who is an excellent addition to our internal medicine department.”

Strengthening the cardiology department at the Buchen location is not only a benefit for the clinic itself, but also for the patients.
