Ceremonial opening of the new series of events in Mannheim-Rheinau!

On January 9, 2025, the Rheinau Evangelical Community announced details of a new series of events that will take place under the title “Fridays at 4” in the Reconciliation Church in Mannheim-Rheinau. The first event in this series begins on January 31, 2025 at 4 p.m. with the performance “That can be cheerful,” which will be organized by the AWO Ballet and the city princess Sarah Dommberger, who was confirmed in office at the end of 2023. From 3:30 p.m., visitors will be offered free coffee and cake.

Sarah Dommberger's commitment is not just limited to the role of city prince. She is actively involved in the St. Konrad Catholic Community Center. The program of the event series, which is planned until mid-2025, includes entertainment, workshops and lectures, which take place on the last Friday of the month at 4 p.m. All events are accessible free of charge. An additional offer is the Rheinau lunch menu, which is open on Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The organizers of the series are the Evangelical Community of Rheinau, the Diakonisches Werk and the Rheinau district management, supported by the Friends of the Evangelical Community of Rheinau and the Diakoniestiftung Mannheim.

The 1st Rheinau carnival association from 1963 e.V. “Die Sandhase” has meanwhile rung in the 5th season. The association has made it its mission to accompany the new city princess Sarah Dommberger during the foolish time. After intensive preparations over the last two years, the campaign was opened in Krautwickel. The enthronement of Sarah Dommberger, who will henceforth be known as Sarah I, took place on St. Martin's Day.

President Holger Kubinski of the association calls for people to spread joy and hopes for many happy hours with the new city princess.
