B 41 in Saarbrücken: full closure due to pothole repairs!

On Friday, November 22nd, 2024, Saarbrücken will be the scene of urgent repair work on the B 41! The State Office for Road Construction (LfS) has announced that dangerous potholes will be repaired in the area between the “Untertürkheimer Straße” roundabout and the “Metzer Straße” roundabout. This work is weather dependent and should be completed the same day - a race against time!

Full closure and diversion

But be careful! Due to the narrow width of the road, the affected route will be completely closed during repairs. Traffic is routed via a diversion route that leads via “Untertürkheimer Straße” through the commercial area to “Südring” before returning to the B 41 “Metzer Straße”. Drivers must prepare for possible traffic jams!

The LfS expects only minor traffic disruptions during the construction work, but it is still advisable to keep an eye on the current traffic reports and allow a little more time for the journey. So be prepared if you're out and about on Friday - the streets of Saarbrücken will temporarily become a construction site!
