Arabella Kiesbauer returns to German television: A new TV star!
Arabella Kiesbauer returns to German television with a bang! The popular presenter is taking over the management of the RTLzwei program “Battle of the Reality Stars” after Cathy Hummels vacated this position. Hummels announced her decision to leave the format in September. The station planned to “further develop the content” and Hummels wanted more freedom for her private life in order to be able to take more care of her son, as she explained in an Instagram post. Her successor is described as perfect by Malte Kruber, entertainment program director at RTLzwei: “She knows the reality business like no other and knows how to deal with the emotions of the stars and starlets in a direct and sensitive way.”
The 55-year-old Kiesbauer, who moderated the afternoon talk “Arabella” on ProSieben from 1994 to 2004 and is also known for ARD formats such as “Stars in der Manege”, has an impressive career. Her return to Germany means a lot to her: “When the offer came to moderate 'Battle of the Reality Stars', I was immediately excited,” says Kiesbauer. She goes on to say that Germany is still a special place for her, where she has experienced many unforgettable moments. The filming of the sixth season in Thailand is already in full swing, which further increases the anticipation for its return, according to the report from Daily Mirror emerges.
