On March 26, 2025 the time has finally come: the popular Easter markets in Vienna will open their doors. With around 240 market stalls at five different locations, this tradition not only brings a festive atmosphere but also culinary highlights for visitors. The market office issued the permits, which were confirmed by market office director Andreas Kutheil. The markets are aimed primarily at families and offer a variety of activities.
The Easter markets offer a wide range of regional specialties, including the famous brightly colored Easter eggs. There are a total of 46 food stalls offering various delicacies to sample.

Special features and attractions
One of the special attractions this year is the visit of the Easter Bunny, who distributes sweets in the markets. The dates for the visits are as follows:

- 16.04.2025: Brunnenmarkt (13:00-14:00 Uhr), Meidlinger Markt (14:30-15:30 Uhr)
- 18.04.2025: Floridsdorfer Markt (09:30-10:30 Uhr), Naschmarkt (11:00-12:00 Uhr)
